LSPR Public Speaking Club, established on 5th October 2000, is a club whose concept is to encourage the younger generations to speak up and express their opinions bravely. Arguments are meant to be spoken properly, hence LSPR Public Speaking Club was founded to assist young people in improving their communication skills. The aim of the Public Speaking Club is to develop new younger generations of public speakers who have great public speaking skills through speech and debate. Everyone needs to develop their speaking ability in order to be successful. Therefore, Public Speaking Club assists the younger generations to improve their public speaking skills, and will lead to great academic and non-academic accomplishments.

Here is the list of a few achievements by members of LSPR Public Speaking Club. In 2016, LSPR Public Speaking Club achieved 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in speech at UPN “Veteran” Jakarta and 1st Place in Speak Up III Infinity Creativity Speech Competition by State University of Jakarta (UNJ). In 2017, LSPR Public Speaking achieved Top 10 Best Speakers in Asean English Olympics and won 1st Place in ECOM 2017 (Binus International). In 2018, LSPR Public Speaking Club achieved 1st runner up in Brawijaya English Tournament 2018 and won 2nd place in the Speech Competition in ECOM Binus. In 2019, LSPR Public Speaking Club achieved 1st Place of News Casting Competition in ALSA UNPAD at Bandung, 2nd Place of Speech Competition in Brawijaya English Competition at Malang, 3rd Place of Speech Competition in NEON at Universitas Tarumanagara, 1st place in Speech at ALSA Universitas Indonesia, and 2nd place in the Speech Competition of UNESHCO at Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. In 2020, LSPR Public Speaking Club has achieved 1st Runner Up and Best Prepared Story of Story Telling Competition in Asian English Olympics, 1st Place and 1st Runner Up positions in Jakartalkers Online Speech Competition. In 2021, LSPR Public Speaking Club has achieved 3rd Place of Speech Competition in Asian English Olympics, 2nd Place and 3rd Place in Jakartalkers Online Speech Competition, also continued to achieve 1st Place in Brawijaya English Tournament (BET), and 3rd Place in Wander Voice International Speech Competition that was held by Global Millennials Community.

 

LSPR Public Speaking Club, didirikan pada tanggal 5 Oktober 2000, merupakan sebuah klub yang memiliki konsep untuk mendorong generasi muda untuk berbicara dan mengutarakan pendapatnya dengan berani. Argumentasi harus dapat diucapkan dengan baik, oleh karena itu LSPR Public Speaking Club didirikan untuk membantu generasi muda dalam meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi mereka. Tujuan dari Public Speaking Club adalah untuk mengembangkan pembicara-pembicara muda yang memiliki keterampilan berbicara di depan umum melalui pidato dan debat. Setiap orang perlu mengembangkan kemampuan berbicara mereka agar berhasil. Oleh karena itu, Public Speaking Club membantu generasi muda untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara di depan umum, dan akan menghasilkan prestasi akademis dan nonakademis yang luar biasa.

 

Berikut adalah daftar beberapa prestasi anggota LSPR Public Speaking Club. Pada tahun 2016, LSPR Public Speaking Club meraih Juara 1, 2, dan 3 dalam pidato di UPN “Veteran” Jakarta dan Juara 1 Lomba Speak Up III Infinity Creativity Speech oleh Universitas Negeri Jakarta (UNJ). Pada tahun 2017, LSPR Public Speaking Club meraih Top 10 Best Speakers di Asean English Olympics dan meraih Juara 1 dalam ECOM 2017 (Binus International). Pada tahun 2018, LSPR Public Speaking Club meraih Juara 1 Brawijaya English Tournament 2018 dan Juara 2 Lomba Pidato di ECOM Binus. Pada tahun 2019, LSPR Public Speaking Club meraih Juara 1 News Casting Competition di ALSA UNPAD di Bandung, Juara 2 Speech Competition di Brawijaya English Competition di Malang, Juara 3 NEON Speech Competition di Universitas Tarumanagara, Juara 1 Speech di ALSA Universitas Indonesia, dan Juara 2 Speech Competition UNESHCO di Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta. Pada tahun 2020, LSPR Public Speaking Club telah meraih Juara Harapan Pertama dan Persiapan Terbaik di Story Telling Competition Asian English Olympics, Juara 1 dan Juara Harapan 1 dalam Jakartalkers Online Speech Competition. Pada tahun 2021, LSPR Public Speaking Club berhasil meraih Juara 3 Speech Competition di Asian English Olympics, Juara 2 dan 3 dalam Jakartalkers Online Speech Competition, juga meraih Juara 1 Brawijaya English Tournament (BET), dan Juara 3 Wander Voice International Speech Competition yang diadakan oleh Global Millennials Community.
