Ask AdmissionsWhat is the difference between Communication Studies and Visual Communication Design?
Communication Studies focuses on strategic communication through public relations, marketing communication, international relations, and performing arts. Visual Communication Design focuses on visual storytelling, design, film, and digital media production. The 2025 curriculum lists S.I.Kom. and S.Ds. as the respective Indonesian degree titles.
How long does the regular undergraduate programme take?
The 2025 curriculum specifies 145 credits over eight semesters for the regular programmes. International Class has a separate study structure; confirm the applicable curriculum and duration with Admissions.
Will I complete an internship and a final project?
Both regular curricula include an industry internship and a final requirement: a thesis, capstone project, or scientific publication. Academic prerequisites and assessment requirements apply. Consult the full curriculum and the academic office for details.
