The London School of Public Relations (LSPR) – Jakarta successfully organized an international study tour and cultural experience in Europe from October 2-13, 2015 with 7 students. The tour consisted of classes at The Hague University in Den Haag, Netherlands and a visit to American Business School in Paris, France.

We were warmly received by The Hague University who invited us to three of their classes namely, the Intercultural Communication, Corporate Communication, and Introduction to Organizational Communication. These classes provided a significant learning experience and we witnessed how the Lecturers interacted with their students. This exhilarating experience continued at the American Business School where we gained further information on their study programs, their principles and goals with education. The highlight at the American Business School was meeting a current Indonesian student who he was extremely helpful with sharing his experiences of studying and living in Paris.

It certainly was a pleasant and unforgettable trip and despite the hectic schedule of attending classes and visiting two partner universities, we managed to explore the cities and experienced the local culture through a city tour in Volendam, Amsterdam City Centre, a visit to Rijk Museum and a canal cruise in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

In Brussels, we had a chance to visit the famous Manneken Pis and in Paris we were thrilled to tour the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomph, Notre Dame, Louvre Museum, Champs Elysees, Galleries Lafayette and many more interesting sites.

By participating in this program we earned 6 SKS (3 SKS for Internship in Communication Subject and 3 SKS for Intercultural Communication Subject, which means, we will not have to do the Internship on the 7th semester. Moreover, we will receive 10 external NAP and an international certificate from The Hague University for attending the classes.

In conclusion my fellow students and I are deeply grateful for the opportunity provided by The London School of Public Relations Jakarta, with all the hard work that was put into preparing for the Study Tour. (Gwendolyn Betsy, Europe participant)
