Bekasi – Dramakala Fest is a competition held by the Indonesian Drama Educators Association (IDEAL). This year, IDEAL held its 9th national competition “Dramakala 9 Fest 2020”. Dramakala Fest 2020 was held for 3 days, on Wednesday – Friday, dated February 26-28, 2020.

This event was a short drama and monologue competition from participants in various regions in Indonesia. There were 20 short dramas, and 19 monologues received. The short dramas were performed at The Amani Palladium Theatre, and the monologues in the Dublin Room Lt. 11 LSPR Transpark Juanda, Bekasi.

On the first day of Dramakala Fest 2020, there were 8 short plays performed, which were performances from Cakrawarna, Pandu Theater, Stage Corner Community, Rupa Theater, Tebs, Anak Zaman Theater, Korek Theater, and Petra Theater, and 5 monologues by GOT Theater, Bobby Faisal, Karenina, Martina, and Andisti.

The 2nd day of Dramakala Fest 2020 continued with 8 short plays by Triple X, 61 Theater, Aruna Theater, Sapta Theater, Sandiwara Theater, Nusantara Theatre, Concept Rawamangun, Graha Bakti Budaya (GBB) Theatre and 4 monologues by Ghivari Septian, Ria Milasari, Sohibul Anwar, Fitri Wulandari.

Awarding Night for wrapped Dramakala Fest 2020

On the last day of Dramakala Fest 2020, 4 short dramas were performed by Masteci, Teater SMAN 8 Kota Serang, Bekasi Theater and Gates Theater and 10 monologues by Un Teater, Soekamto Theater, Adeng Ika Nurmaya, Pressy, Dedy, Rahma Sovia, Dayu Prisma, Hermawan, Yenni, and Anzar. This series of competitions held over 3 days was closed with an awards night which was held on the last day of the Dramakala 9 Fest 2020 competition.
