The Opportunity 

Join an exclusive international cohort at Okayama University, one of Japan’s top-tier national institutions. This two-week residency (July 2–18, 2026) offers LSPR students an immersive academic and cultural journey into the “Land of Sunshine.”

LSPR students will get a deeper understanding of Japanese culture by attending academic lectures, cultural seminars, and field trips to uncover the essence of Japanese culture and identity.

Important Dates

• Application Deadline: 8 May 2026

• Notification of Results: 15 May 2026

• Passport Submission: By 20 May 2026

• Program Period: 2 July – 18 July 2026

• Payment Deadline: Early June 2026

Program Investment

• Fee: JPY 280,000

• Included: Tuition, Course Materials, Shared Dormitory, Excursions, and Insurance.

• Not Included: Airfare, Meals, and Personal Expenses.

Critical Requirements 

• English Proficiency: CEFR B2 level or equivalent.
• Passport: Must be valid for at least 6 months beyond the program date.
• Mandatory Attendance: 3 Transferable Credits (Requires mandatory attendance).
