Study Program Overview
The Visual Communication Design program at LSPR is designed to developcreative, strategic, and technology-driven design professionals who are responsive to the evolving global visual communication landscape. The program emphasizes the development of cross-cultural visual narratives, critical thinking, and creative execution through the integration of design principles, storytelling, and digital media technology. Students are trained to conceptualize, design, and produce visual communication works that are contextually relevant, socially responsive, and aligned with industry standards.
Graduates of the program are awarded a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Design / Sarjana Desain (S.Ds) upon completion of 145 credits over eight semesters. The curriculum is structured to balance conceptual foundations, analytical skills, and hands-on production, while fostering adaptability to technological advancements and the needs of the global creative and media industries. The Visual Communication Design program focuses on Film and Visual Design, equipping students with competencies in visual storytelling, design development, and media production. Through the integration of design thinking, visual communication strategy, and digital technology, students are prepared to design and produce impactful visual works across various platforms. This focus prepares graduates to contribute professionally to the design, media, and creative industries, both nationally and internationally.
