Jakarta 11 July 2020 – KAMI held a webinar with the theme “Marketspace: A Sexy Place in the Time of Pandemic”. This webinar presents experienced alumni in the world of marketspace ranging from private businesses to where they work. Mr.Iqbal Fajri is a Batch 16 alumni who uses market space as a platform for him to sell his merchandise. As well as Mr.Aditya Eka Putra PGP LSPR alumni who are Tokopedia’s Top Seller and become Owner of Black Passion Coffee and moderated by Mr.Nurdin Gustaf alumni batch 15. To attract the attention of webinar participants, the speakers at this session gave prizes to participants who asked questions and activated the camera. Prizes given are 10 Coffee packages, 5 voucher @ Rp.50.000 gopay balances and 1 @ Rp.100.000.

Mr.Adit in his presentation gave information about marketspace and marketplaces in e-commerce. Marketplace Is a place for sellers to sell their merchandise to buyers through an intermediate landing page (Online Shop) or place their merchandise using the “Official Store” in the Marketplace type of transaction can buy retail or wholesale Example: Hijup.com, Zoya.co.id, Anker Official in Tokopedia Is a medium used by all kinds of sellers to sell their wares, the easiest is the market. Example: Tokopedia, Lazada, Blibli, Shopee. Mr.Iqbal gave a question at the end of the session to the participants “Why is the market space considered sexy?” Hanifa, one of the participants, answered that the market space is considered sexy because in the Covid-19 condition, most people stay at home so they carry out online trading transactions to make it easier for the community to fulfill their needs. In addition, Mr.Iqbal added why we need to sell on the market space because the cost is cheaper and the system is easily accessible, we only stay at home goods and income comes to us by itself. The speakers gave a message that students as young people should be more creative and utilize the Marketplace as a good opportunity to do business.
