“Intercultural experiences are priceless. And you have to be serious about studying, traveling is only a bonus, you are the LSPR ambassador there, ” Ms. Candy emphasized While delivering her speech to the participants. After Ms. Candy, explained the requirements and details about the International Programs and how to be chosen as a candidate for the exchange programme. Ms. Heidy from the International Office, went on to explain the various technical aspects like the estimates of living costs and tuition fees in the destination country. They ranged from the most affordable in Bangladesh to the highest estimated cost of living in Europe, especially in the United Kingdom.
Ms. Heidy added, “several campuses will help you with visa applications.” then Ms. Heidy continued by directing the sharing session with batch 22 students who are currently conducting student exchange programs, either offline or online. The first speaker was Stephannie Matthew Octavia, a batch 22 international relations student who is currently studying at Budapest Metropolitan University, Hungary. And then continued with Adinda Dewi Anggita, who is currently studying at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia.

Stephannie said, “We have to be more talkative about communicating with the destined campus. Because at that time I already got an announcement from LSPR but I haven’t received an acceptance letter from the destined campus ”. Adinda also added that “It’s easier to tend to college needs because it’s online, and the IRPO staff are very helpful in many things.”

“The differences in learning on the destined campus compared to LSPR is there is hybrid learning here, which means some of it is done offline and some of it is done online, but for the past few weeks the learning is online because in Hungary it is currently in PSBB, but the online learning is similar in LSPR, I don’t find it difficult,” said Stephannie. It is different from Adinda’s condition, who is conducting an online exchange. “The online session is similar to LSPR, except that I have more homework. After class, there is a group discussion too, so if there is a miscommunication it can be resolved together with friends and lecturers, so you can be closer to your friends, the difference is that. ”
“Another academic difference is, in Hungary, there is no mid-test, there is an only final examination, so in my opinion, it is easier, there is also a campus app for uploading assignments and so on, similar to LSPR,” Stephannie added.
Focusing on lectures while sharpening some skills is a big asset that can be explored when joining this program. This event was ended by providing Instagram contacts for the speakers, if there were still questions outside the event session.
