Through the International Mentorship and Workshop Program, LSPR International Class Batch 27 Take the Stage at KLIP 2026

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – June 3rd-10th, 2026 – LSPR Institute successfully concluded its 2026 International Mentorship and Workshop Program (IMWP), held in Malaysia, from June 3 to 10, 2026. The week-long program provided students from LSPR International Class Batch 27 with valuable international learning experiences through academic visits, industry engagement, and cross-cultural activities.

Throughout the program, students presented real-world communication campaigns, visited diplomatic institutions, and participated in international conferences and workshops. These activities allowed them to strengthen their public relations knowledge, develop intercultural communication skills, and gain practical insights into the global communications industry, preparing them for future professional careers.

The interactive learning phase of the trip kicked off on June 4th with university sit-in classes at Taylor’s University—focusing on the PR Events Consultancy and PR Consultancy modules—and Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). These sessions served as an interactive academic exchange; LSPR student groups delivered five-minute pitches showcasing their PR campaign outputs, while the host lecturers shared valuable insights on building effective communication campaigns.
The journey shifted to international diplomacy on June 5th during a morning visit to the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia in Kuala Lumpur, where students engaged with embassy officials to gain firsthand insights into bilateral relations.

The highlight of the program was the students’ participation in the 8th Kuala Lumpur International PR Conference (KLIP) on June 8. Held under the theme “Zero Hour: The Trust Crisis – PR in an AI-Driven World,” the conference brought together public relations leaders, industry professionals, and academics from around the world.

As part of the conference, LSPR students proudly presented their communication project through both a presentation and a cultural performance. They also showcased their project “The Story of Bamboo” at an exhibition booth, highlighting the story and sustainability values of bamboo while engaging with conference participants from diverse international backgrounds.

On June 9, the students continued their participation by attending the AI SHE LEADS forum, where they expanded their professional network through meaningful interactions with keynote speakers, industry experts, and fellow attendees. The forum provided valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, gain insights into the future of AI in strategic communication, and strengthen their global perspectives.

The International Mentorship and Workshop Program reflects LSPR’s commitment to providing students with meaningful global learning experiences that bridge academic knowledge and industry practice. The insights gained throughout the program will contribute to enriching future learning activities and strengthening collaborations with partner institutions in Malaysia.
