

Jakarta, 12 February 2026 – Two outstanding students from LSPR Institute of Communication and Business have been awarded a total USD 5,000 scholarship by Vero, a leading communications consultancy in Southeast Asia, as part of the Vero Scholarship Program for the Odd Semester of Academic Year 2025/2026.
The initiative, established in May 2025 through a strategic collaboration between Vero and LSPR Institute, was designed to support high achieving students within the Global Digital Public Relations (GDPR) and Global Marketing Communication (GMC) concentrations of the Communication Studies Program. Through the LSPR x Vero collaborative curriculum, industry driven insights were integrated into the subjects Crisis Communication Tactics: Handling Issues & Trends in PR and Brand Communication & Activation, ensuring alignment between academic frameworks and professional practice.
Following the completion of guest lecture sessions and a rigorous evaluation process including academic performance, structured assignments, and essay submissions, Michelle Victoria Ashlee (GDPR) and Sheren Aurellia Christanto (GMC) were selected as scholarship awardees in recognition of their academic excellence and professional readiness.
The scholarship was officially presented at the Vero Jakarta Office – The Plaza Office Tower, in the presence of Mr. Brian Griffin (CEO, Vero), Dr. Sri Ulya Suskarwati (Dean of the Faculty of Communication), Dr. Joe Harrianto Setiawan (Head of the Communication Studies Program), Mr. Melvin Bonardo (Secretary of the Communication Studies Program and initiator of the collaboration), representatives of HIMA Faculty of Communication, CRD – LSPR Institute, and the awardees.
This collaboration reinforces the shared commitment of LSPR Institute and Vero to advancing academic excellence through meaningful industry engagement. It further strengthens LSPR Institute’s position as a global campus dedicated to delivering internationally oriented education and integrating global industry standards into its academic ecosystem to prepare graduates for the evolving global communication landscape.
