Pada Selasa, 22 Juli 2025, bertempat di The Amani Palladium Theatre, LSPR Institute of Communication and Business menghadirkan sebuah drama bertajuk “One Day As You”, karya orisinal dari Azzahra Mulyasa, Nasya Khalilah, dan Rizka Hastri. Pementasan ini merupakan bagian dari 33rd LSPR Theatre Festival oleh kelas COMM 28-45P yang dikenal dengan kreativitas dan keberanian mereka dalam mengeksplorasi isu-isu emosional dan identitas diri.
Pertunjukan ini tidak hanya disutradarai dengan apik oleh Ayu Habila, tetapi juga melibatkan tim produksi berbakat seperti Nayla Sachio, Amanda Kristie, hingga Naudfal Muhammad Syaqra. Kolaborasi hebat ini menunjukkan semangat luar biasa para mahasiswa dalam menyampaikan karya teater berkualitas tinggi.
Berikut sinopsis dari “One Day As You“
In the 1970s, a 17-year-old girl named Nurlela (Lela) lives in Jakarta with her single mother, Dariyah (40), and her older brother, Ali (19), in a Betawi family. Raised with the belief that women should be graceful and follow the prescribed roles, Lela secretly dreams of becoming a martial artist, a passion forbidden by her mother.
One day, Ali takes her to a silat dojo, where Lela meets Paul, a wealthy and introverted boy who has no interest in silat.
Lela and Paul share their dreams, and during a conversation outside, they encounter Madam Datura — a witch who offers to swap their souls for 24 hours. After some hesitation, they agree, eager to experience the lives they’ve always wanted. This soul swap transforms their lives, teaching them the true meaning of happiness.
