Chongqing, China – April 27, 2026 – The LSPR Institute of Communication and Business, Indonesia and Sichuan International Studies University (SISU), China have officially strengthened their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), marking a significant step forward in their ongoing collaboration in international education.
The visit follows initial engagements established in 2025, particularly in supporting the development of an overseas Chinese language learning center. During the visit, the LSPR delegation, accompanied by the Education and Cultural Counsellor of the Indonesian Embassy in China, Ms. Fu Bida, was warmly received by President Zhu Chaowei and Deputy Party Secretary Gou Chaoli.
Prior to the meeting, the LSPR delegation visited the university’s history museum and observed Chinese language classes, gaining insights into SISU’s academic environment and teaching framework. This visit provided a valuable foundation for further collaboration between the two institutions.
Dr. (H.C.) Prita Kemal Gani, MBA, MCIPR, APR, FIPR, Founder and CEO of LSPR Institute, expressed her appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed LSPR’s commitment to building meaningful international partnerships. During the meeting, she introduced LSPR’s academic profile through a presentation and invited SISU representatives to visit Jakarta within the year to further advance the implementation of the Chinese language learning center and explore opportunities for broader academic collaboration.
President Zhu Chaowei highlighted the progress achieved since both institutions first established contact in 2025, particularly in curriculum alignment and proposal development. He also expressed interest in expanding collaboration into areas such as journalism and communication, cross-border e-commerce, and big data, as part of future academic development.

Ms. Fu Bida, representing the Indonesian Embassy in China, conveyed strong support for the collaboration and emphasized the importance of the joint Chinese language learning center. She further encouraged the development of future initiatives, including student exchanges and faculty mobility, to strengthen educational and cultural ties between Indonesia and China.
With the MoU now in place, both institutions will continue discussions on the establishment of the Chinese language learning center and explore further opportunities for collaboration in academic and educational programmes. This partnership reflects a shared commitment to fostering international cooperation, cultural exchange, and the advancement of global education.
